By accessing and using PrepLexa, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
PrepLexa provides AI-powered language test preparation services for exams including IELTS, CELPIP, TCF, TEF, and PTE Core.
Our services include practice exercises, AI feedback, progress tracking, and related features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that our practice materials exactly replicate official exam conditions or that using our services will result in specific test scores.
You must create an account to use our services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or inappropriate behavior.
PrepLexa offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your subscription. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy. Free tier users are not eligible for refunds. Premium and Pro tier users may request refunds within 7 days of purchase.
You agree to use PrepLexa only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not use our services to:
• Violate any laws or regulations • Infringe on intellectual property rights • Transmit malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access • Harass, abuse, or harm others • Share your account with others • Use automated systems to access the service • Reverse engineer or copy our AI models or technology
We reserve the right to investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
PrepLexa and its content, including text, graphics, AI models, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you create (such as essays and recordings), but you grant us a license to use this content to provide and improve our services.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service without our express permission.
Our services use artificial intelligence to generate feedback and suggestions. AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes and should not be considered as professional language assessment.
AI feedback may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should use your own judgment and consult with qualified language instructors for important decisions.
We do not guarantee that AI scores will match official exam scores. Our scoring is designed to provide general guidance on your performance.
PrepLexa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunities.
Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold PrepLexa, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
• Your use of the service • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any rights of another party • Any content you submit or share through the service
Our service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as payment processors). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third parties.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using PrepLexa, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
We implement security measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. You use the service at your own risk.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms, with or without notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
You agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PrepLexa regarding the service.
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
